Anuyash Arogya Pratishthan is working for the welfare of diabetics. It was established by Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar in 2006. This work was undertaken with the objective of creating awareness about diabetes in the society & providing appropriate assistance to the economically backward sections.
Diabetes is a disease caused by wrong lifestyle & unfortunately India has become the global capital of diabetes. Diabetes is one of the most serious health problems. The mission of Anuyash Arogya Foundation is to make the public aware of it. So, we are working to fulfil the dream of the President’s award recipient, Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar, ‘Diabetes Free India’.
Under the leadership of Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar, who has 27 years of research experience in the field of diabetes, the work of Anuyash Aarogya Foundation has expanded all over India. Our goal is to eradicate diabetes from India & then throughout the entire world. Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar has taken up this challenge & he is committed to it & working with determination.
Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar believes that by making proper lifestyle changes, diabetes can be prevented, controlled & even reversed. Diabetes is not only a health problem but also a social & economic problem & it poses a long term effect on the entire family of the diabetes patient. The goal of the Anuyash Arogya Foundation is to make people aware of the dangers posed by diabetes & its effects on the body.
For this, the following 3 action plans have been prepared.
Preventing non-diabetics to become diabetic

Helping Diabetics to live a healthy life by avoiding further complications and also REVERSING them.
Our Story
Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar firmly believes that there is no prosperity without struggle and based on this positive attitude he has overcome various struggles in life.
High myopia in both eyes at birth caused him to suffer from visual impairment. Also, he has problems with his bones as a result of wrong diagnosis of bone TB at an early age. Ayurvedic treatment revived his life and Dr. Nandedkar decided to devote his entire life to Ayurveda.
Facing all the problems like a brave warrior, Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar continued his education and earned degrees M.Pharm., Ph.D.,M.D. (A.M.), Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Science, B.A. (Music), L.L.B. and Diploma in Computer Applications. He has proved his academic intelligence in diverse fields.
The trust & support shown to him by his mother Anusaya & father Yashwant during his entire journey was invaluable. He witnessed his father’s health problems caused by diabetes. Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar was well aware of the health issues associated with diabetes, so he decided to conduct research in this field. Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar has dedicated his life & research on diabetes under the name of Anuyash (Anu-saya & Yash-want) with the aim of extending his parents’ love & blessings throughout his life.
The social work undertaken by Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar has been the result of values instilled by his parents.

She has done MBBS from Miraj Medical College and DNB from Topiwala National Medical College (TNMC).
She was working as a lecturer in D.Y. Patil Medical college and also did medical practice in the same college. She has experience treating insulin-dependent diabetic patients. She was working as an assistant medical lecturer at Islampur Medical College. Now, she is working as an associate professor and an acting HOD in SSM Medical College in Sindhudurg (MH).
She had a vision problem due to a car accident, but she is recovering from it now. She is actively working with social organizations for handicapped people. She is well aware of the physical and psychological impact of insulin on Type 1 patients. She has an urge to treat Type 1 diabetic patients with Ayurvedic and herbal medicines. Her profound 15 yrs. of work experience in the medical field as a practitioner as well as a teacher is our prestige.

Pankaj Baranjalekar has around 15+ years of strong experience in CRM software solutions. He is associated with Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar in his revolutionary “Mission Diabetes Free India” Social Movement. He is contributing with his IT applications and CRM industry knowledge in the digital transformation of the “Mission Diabetes Free India” movement and bringing in changes in digital experiences to the beneficiaries of this social movement.

Awards & Recognition
Dr.Sir received ‘Maharashtra Divyang Udyog Bhushan Purskar’ in 2016 & State Government Award in 2010. Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar presented a research paper on topic of Diabetes at International Conference held in Zurich, Switzerland in September 2000. His research gained worldwide recognition. Later on, this research turned out to be a healing revolution in life of diabetics. His research paper has been published in encyclopedia from Chennai ‘Ayurvedic Medicine’.
Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar presented his dissertation at the Ayucon International Conference held at Maharashtra Aarogya Vigyan University in January 2006. The ‘Mehant Plus’ capsule, which he developed through research, received a provisional patent from Government of India. It was also approved by Food & Drug Administration of the Government of Maharashtra for its production. Till date, 5 patents are registered in his name. The formulation ‘Ayursulin’ developed by Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar was tested on animals at Grant Medical College & J.J. Hospital, Mumbai. And more importantly, ‘Ayursulin’ was found to be more effective than Glibenclamide, a drug used in diabetes.

‘Mission Diabetes Free India’
Diabetes Free India Campaign by Anuyash Aarogya Pratishthan is an innovative concept. In order to successfully implement this concept all over India, Anuyash Aarogya Pratishthan has undertaken various projects. Through these projects, the well-being of all – from diabetic children to senior citizens, has been taken into consideration.
The number of diabetics in India is growing rapidly and India has become the world’s diabetes capital. In view of this fact, a number of initiatives like free blood sugar check-up camp, Bal Madhumeh Dattak yojana, diabetes awareness program, health-related training program, 2-day residential training workshop are regularly implemented at the national level to make the concept of ‘Mission Diabetes free India’ a reality.The Pan India Free Mega Blood Sugar Checkup Camp
‘Mission Diabetes Free India’
The Pan India Free Mega Blood Sugar Check Sub Camp has been started in 2005 as an important part of the Mission Diabetes Free India started by Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar. In the first year of 2005-2006, these camps were organized in 28 districts of Maharashtra. Pune is the main center of activities of Anuyash Aarogya Pratishthan.
Diabetes Checkup and Treatment Camps have been conducted in collaboration with various local organizations like Red Swastik, Lions Club, JCI in Pune, and other districts and it is said that this activity has set a world record. All the expenses including glucometer strips needle software, stationary courier charges, etc are borne by Anuyash.
Free Mega Blood Sugar Checkup Camp
‘Mission Diabetes Free India’
Free Mega Blood Sugar Checkup Camp was organized on 7th April 2017. At that time, 18732 patients were examined on the same day through 119 centers in 5 states, breaking the previous world record.
On November 14, 2017, i.e. on World Diabetes Day, free blood sugar tests were performed on more than 50,000 people in more than 200 centers across 16 states.Thousands of diabetics have benefited through these check-up camps which have been conducted all over India till date.
