Mission Diabetes Free India is the main objective of Anuyash Aarogya Pratishthan. To achieve this goal, various diabetes-related activities are being carried out all over India. Considering growing number of diabetic patients, awareness about this disease is being spread on many levels. Through these public awareness programs, Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar guides on important issues such as what is diabetes, its causes, symptoms, remedies, positive lifestyle, medication, diet, etc.
Information about diabetes has reached millions of people in country & work of Anuyash is still going on uninterruptedly. At same time, health workers working in field of diabetes in society are trained by Anuyash. Till date, more than 500 health workers have been trained. 2 days of residential workshops have also been conducted under training program of Anuyash & till date 36 residential workshops have been successfully organized. More than 1500 people have trained in these workshops held in Pune, Delhi, & Raipur.

Bal Madhumeh Dattak Yojana
Anuyash Aarogya Pratishthan has adopted the children suffering from type one diabetes. On the 67th Republic Day of the country i.e. 26th January 2016, Anuyash Aarogya Pratishthan adopted 67 pediatric diabetic patients for treatment. Under this, today more than 1200 children from all over the country are given free medicines and doctors’ advice every month.
The medicine and expenses of postage are borne by Anuyash. Expert doctor team always available for consultation and counseling for patients and their parents free of cost. Enrolled type one patients get free medicine till the age of 18. Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar decided to use the important research done in Ayurveda not only for bookish knowledge but also for the benefit of the society.
Also, due to the guidance given by Dr. Ravindra Nandedkar himself, the attitude of patients towards diabetes has become clearer. Dr. Nandedkar’s camp has revived people in rural and remote areas of India who have not been able to access mainly private and public health services.
